Collection: JoAnn Richert
JoAnn Marie was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She spent some time in Malaysia as a teenager and many summers in Northern Saskatchewan with family. The natural world has had a huge influence on her life and inspired her art. JoAnn is always exploring new and exciting mediums. She enjoys working on stretched and loose canvas as well as wood panel and furniture. Her paint palette includes vibrant colours, using high flow acrylics, and Inktense pencils. JoAnn uses bright batik fabric in much of her work, natural materials, paper, and texture paste. Her abstract and experimental style represents nature in our world.
