Torus Earrings

Stainless steel findings, acrylic paint on canvas; hand-cut and assembled

My earrings are made out of original acrylic paintings. I hand cut them and pair the pieces back to back so that each earring becomes a small, wearable piece of art. The edges are sealed with acrylic paint and sometimes I add gemstones depending on the style. Because each pair is cut by hand from a different part of a painting, no two are exactly alike. They’re lightweight, colorful, and made with the intention of giving unsold paintings a second life as something wearable and unique. - Brianne Hager, artist
