Collection: Jacob Semko
Jacob Semko is an artist, author, and a printmaker. He has a BFA from the University of Saskatchewan and an MFA from the University of Cincinnati. He has been on faculty at the University of Cincinnati, (USA), Queens University (Ontario) Haliburton School of the Arts (Ontario) SERC in Bangor (Northern Ireland and St. Peters College (Saskatchewan) and at the University of Saskatchewan. Jacob has taught workshops, guest lectured and been a visiting artist in residence in China, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. He has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions and has his artwork in permanent collections across the globe. Jacob lives in Saskatoon SK.

Land Acknowledgement
The Saskatchewan Craft Council is located in Treaty 6 territory, the traditional territory of the Nêhiyawak and the Métis nation. As a provincial organization, our programs and services extend to lands of Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10, which also include traditional territories of Nahkawininiwak (Saulteaux), Nakota (Assiniboine), Dakota, Lakota (Sioux), and Denesuline (Dene/Chipewyan). We gratefully acknowledge our relationship to this land and to each other.
