Collection: Donna Stockdale

Donna Stockdale is a fibre artist who creates wearable textiles, soft sculptures, and wall artworks inspired by the Precambrian shield landscape. Each piece is handcrafted individually, honouring the beauty and diversity of the skies, the rocky lakeshore, and the boreal forest near her northern Saskatchewan home. Painting and dyeing fabrics and fibres; hand-felting wool, silk, and plant fibres together to create new textiles, embellishing with stitch and leaf prints – all offer her endless possibilities for experimentation and discovery in describing the colours, forms, and textures in nature.
