It is an exploration referencing ideas of a sense of place, personal and impersonal histories (both real and imagined), and permanence\/impermanence. My working method is intuitive and spontaneous in nature, comparable to improvisation in music. Pieces develop in a spontaneous fashion; unplanned and with no specific intent regarding outcome or materials to be utilized. As a result, all of my works go through numerous stages of transformation and development before they finally reach completion.
