Maria Hendrika designs and fabricates one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces. She works in sterling, fine silver, and copper, often incorporating semi-precious stones, enamel, or found objects. She is influenced by the natural world, architecture, and everyday items. Maria’s work spans the spectrum from elegant sterling silver earrings and pendants to whimsical little houses. Maria enjoys learning new techniques and has participated in many classes offered at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre. Maria has been creating jewellery for over ten years and maintains a home studio in Regina’s Cathedral neighbourhood. Currently, Maria sells her jewellery at Art Gallery of Regina member shows and at local shows organized by the Jewellery Artists Guild of Regina.
