Joséphine Tambwe Feza Kabibi is a Coppersmith from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Joséphine trained for seven years in her craft and has over 27 years of experience.
"This copper work is not easy and I do it with all my heart," writes Joséphine. We are thrilled to carry her works in SCC Fine Craft Boutique.
Before coming to Canada as a refugee, she exhibited twice at the International Arts and Handicrafts Trade Show of Ouagadougou (SIAO). SIAO is considered the window on African handicraft and is one of Africa’s most important trade fairs of its kind. It shows the whole variety of African art and craft products.
